Mission Statement of OCA

• To unite members of the ethnic Chinese community in order to contribute towards the Australian society
• To set up Chinese ethnic schools for promoting Chinese culture
• To promote understanding and friendship between ethnic Chinese and other Australian ethnic communities
• To provide charity/welfare information and advisory services
• To provide recreational and social activities for members
• To raise the social status of ethnic Chinese
• To reinforce care services for the aged and welfare and to promote a balanced physical and emotional development for the youth.
• To reflect the opinions of members to the government.
• To operate as a non-profit organization
• To adopt the objectives as passed by members at Annual General Meetings
